Mark brings over 25 years’ financial services experience to Alveo, including leadership experience at the forefront of the financial data and technology sectors.
Prior to joining Alveo, Mark held senior management positions with Interactive Data (now ICE Data Services), including serving as President of the Global Pricing & Reference Data business in New York. During his time with the company, Mark also led Interactive Data’s Real Time Data Feeds, Fixed Income Analytics & Indices, and Wealth Management businesses, and served on their Executive Committee.
Steve joined as CFO in January 2021 and brings over 20 years’ financial services experience to Alveo, including board roles in software, SaaS and managed services businesses, latterly as Group CFO of DPR Limited. Prior to that Steve was Group CFO at Target Group and brings operational and commercial experience, with a strong customer focus, from senior leadership roles in both Xchanging plc and Capita Group plc.”
As CTO, Mark is responsible for the overall leadership of Research and Development at Alveo and works closely with Product Management and Technical Services to drive continued growth and product innovation.
Mark has more than 20 years of management experience, developing and managing software products and services, predominately in Finance Services, including roles at Sungard and Accenture. In his most recent position, Mark was CTO for Glint pay, where he managed their technology function. He holds two Bachelor degrees from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and a Master’s degree from the University of Delft, the Netherlands.
Martijn Groot oversees Marketing and Strategy, steering the company’s strategy for corporate development, innovation and communications. Martijn has unrivalled financial and risk data experience, as well as extensive knowledge of Alveo’s customers, having held Market Strategy and Business Development roles here prior to re-joining the company in 2015.
A published author, with an MBA from INSEAD, Martijn’s career history spans financial technology, information services and analytics, at firms such as ABN AMRO, Euroclear and IGATE.
As Head of International Sales, Gary is responsible for leading Alveo’s Sales in both EMEA and APAC.
Gary brings over 20 years’ experience in managing complex sales of pre and post trade, regulatory and market data solutions to the financial marketplace. He joins Alveo from Traiana where he was Head of Sales and Account Management, Europe. Prior to this, he held several senior sales positions at Thomson Reuters.
As Managing Director of the Americas, Nathan is responsible for all Operations and Sales in the region.
With extensive experience spanning over 20 years in the Financial data space including 9 years at Alveo, Nathan joins the business following a 3 year role at Broadridge where he was Global Head of Data Management Solutions. He brings a strong customer focus and works with the dedicated data management professionals at Alveo to resolve the difficult data challenges clients faced with regulatory changes and evolving business requirements.
Based at Alveo’s City of London headquarters, Simon is responsible for Customer Support, Professional Services, Managed Services, Training and IT Support globally to ensure consistent implementation of best practice across customer service and support.
Simon brings the experience of a 25 year career in the financial services and IT industries, including 10 years in futures trading; six years in IT consultancy; and latterly 10 years in client services roles within financial data and application software & services. He joins Alveo from IHS Markit where he served as Global Head of Client Services, demonstrating strong leadership skills and instilling a quality-focused culture across a 90+ team spanning EMEA, North America and APAC.
As Head of Product Management, Neil is responsible for the overall product management functions at Alveo. In this capacity, he is responsible for defining and delivering on all aspects of the company’s product vision and strategy.
Neil brings a wealth of product management experience in developing buy-side focused financial applications including portfolio accounting platforms. In his previous role, Neil was Director of Product Management at Eze Software Group responsible for delivering their new cloud-based IBOR and Accounting Platform.
Neil holds a master’s degree in Computer System Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
